About Me

First of all a few words about me. My name is Bob. On 31 August 2006 I took early retirement after 39 years service with the Inland Revenue – latterly Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. I was an Inspector of Taxes for 29 years and there are very few jobs with which I have not been involved. For the last few years I managed one of the enquiry teams in the West Lancs West Cheshire area and for the last few months in public service I represented the HMRC at Commissioners Hearings on a full time basis. Over my career I have represented the then IR, now HMRC, at over 100 Commissioners Meetings.
I have a few personal clients covering a wide range of issues but recently I have been concentrating my efforts on advice to companies – such as umbrellas – within the contracting sector.
Please have a look around the site and if you think that I can be of use and you would like to contact me use the form below or email bob@internet-taxation.co.uk   –   to access my diary see http://internet-taxation.co.uk/about/diary/
